Xu Li Was Appointed As Secretary Of Party Subcommittee Of Chinese Artists Association

As per Circular No.28 of the Appointment Notice of Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC (2016) and Circular No.61 of the Appointment Notice of the Communist Party Committee of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Xu Li was appointed as the Secretary of Party Subcommittee of Chinese Artists Association.

Xu Li, male, born in 1961; nationality: Han; education degree: B.A; political identity: a member of the Communist Party of China.

Present titles: Secretary of Party Subcommittee and Secretary-General of Chinese Artists Association, Deputy Director of Organizing Committee and Creation Advisory Committee of “Art Creation Project on Historical Subjects of Chinese Civilization” organized by Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Culture, Deputy Director of Art Committee of Chinese Artists Association, Director of Chinese Artists Association, a member of Chinese Calligraphers Association.

 

Previously, he was Head of Department of Art of Jimei University, President of Xiamen Oil Painting Association, Vice President of Fujian Artists Association, Deputy Director and Director of Academic Committee of Chinese Oil Painting Creation and Research Base Across The Taiwan Strait, a Party member and full-time Vice-President of Xiamen Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Deputy Director of Domestic Liaison Department of Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Deputy Secretary of Party Subcommittee of Chinese Artists Association and Visiting Professor of Xiamen University, Jimei University, Fuzhou University, Huaqiao University and Xiamen University of Technology.

 

His works have been selected to join in 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th National Art Exhibition in succession and other national exhibitions like 20th Century Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition, 2nd Oil Painting Exhibition of China, 3rd Chinese Refined Oil Painting Exhibition and 1st China Oil Painting Society Exhibition and have won awards. Some of his works have also been selected to be exhibited in Austria, Japan, U.S., New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia, Netherland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. His works have been collected by many museums, governmental agencies, domestic and overseas collecting agencies and private collectors: China National Art Museum, the Chairman’s Office of the Committee in the People’s Great Hall, Zhongnanhai, Macau Art Museum, Chiyoda Gallery in Tokyo, National Gallery of Oriental Art in the U.S., Zoetermeer municipal government in the Netherland, Helsingborg municipal government in Sweden, Bremen municipal government in Germany, Wellington municipal government in New Zealand, Sasebo municipal government in Japan, Chinese Embassies in the Netherland, UK and Greek, Yonghe Palace, Nanputuo Temple, the Rockefellers in the U.S., the mayor of London and Sir Paul Judge (a contributor to University of Cambridge). Xu Li has led delegations of artists to hold exhibitions in many countries and regions like France, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, Netherland, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, UK, Greece, Spain, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland, Republic of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Taiwan.
